greetings expert office users, etc, etc. I have a problem I hope someone can explain/fix - when I got onto our computer today, I noticed that the start menu was running up the side of the desktop, and there were no desktop icons. Just got an FZ20. Checked out the external flash hot shoe function with my flash unit. No flash. The in-camera flash works correctly. I don't know if this defect is a one-off or if more of these rigs have the same problem. My question was whether it was possible to search through a directory of roms (over a network) then when you select one it FTP’s the file to your xbox. (to a temp folder) then executes it with a compatible emulator. The reasons why I don’t understand why this wouldn’t work are as follows: - You can manually FTP over files to any folder on your xbox. We have a home that was built many years ago and as such it still has some glavanized pipe. I have replaced a lot with copper but not all. My bathrooms set pretty much one on top of the other and their drains share the same vent. I have no copper going upstairs yet. Water pressure is low and the water is dirty, I know why that is, the galvanized pipes are gunked up. But I am confused on this one. I notice it 99% of the time in the shower (downstairs), I hear a thump every now and then. No rhyme or reason to it. It almost sounds like an ejector pump or a sump pump shutting off.
